The Bruins will look to put back-to-back wins together for the first time all season when the travel to Phoenix to face-off against the Coyotes. The Bruins put together a great all-around effort last night in Dallas in a 3-0 shutout against the Stars.
The Coyotes have been surprisingly stingy on defense in the early season, allowing less than four goals in each of their five games, and had notable shutouts against Cup winners Pittsburgh and the offensive jugernaut San Jose Sharks. Phoenix is currently riding a two-game winning streak in which they have only given up two goals.
The Coyotes will most likely start Ilya Bryzgalov in net who boasts a 4-1 record with a 1.17 GAA. Tim Thomas, who is coming off his first shutout of the season, will start in net for the Bruins.
Guillaume Lefebvre (thank you copy and paste) will replace Milan Lucic tonight, who broke his finger last night in Dallas. Lefebvre was called up from Providence on an emergency basis which means he will either be here for the short-time or this is a tactic to decide whether or not to put Lucic on the IR. Lefebvre has 25 penalty minutes in 4 games in Providence.
